A company with several points should determine which information is common and which requires local communication. The division of profiles makes sense when the team can maintain their current and service.
Start with the differences between points
The branches may have a different offer, working hours and events, but also use identical brand materials. Before the next Facebook pages are created, write down these differences and responsibility for updating them.
A larger number of profiles is not an advantage in itself. Everyone needs content, answers and data control. With a small team it is worth especially careful to evaluate this work effort.
Split brand rules and local information
Common materials may include the presentation of services, a sign, a picture style and a basic language of communication. The local team may, however, prepare information about their point if they have the authority to do so and know the applicable rules.
You don’t have to force identical posts in every place. It’s worth keeping the facts consistent and a clear recognition of the organization.
Prepare the cycle of changes
- Who confirms the working hours of a given point?
- Who responds to a message about another location?
- How is the change in the overall offer transmitted?
- What happens to communication when the point is closed or moved?
For example, the request for availability of the service should be addressed to a person who knows the situation of the branch. The common character itself does not solve the flow of information.
Combine profiles with appropriate subpages
A link to the location on the company website can collect access, contact and scope of service. Check whether the names and data are compatible on both sides. The recipient should be able to easily switch to information about the whole company.
We write about designing such places in multiple location presentation guide. The chosen communication model is worth periodically assessing according to the quality of service and available resources, instead of maintaining inactive profiles without a specific role.
