The brand should be recognized in an online store, order news and printed materials. It is worth checking these places together, instead of designing each of them as a separate world.
Trace customer contact with brand
The recipient can see the advertisement, open the product card, receive confirmation of the order and unpack the package. At each stage he meets the same company data, but often a completely different look. Visual identification should take into account all this way.
For a company operating in Warsaw, the collection point or materials presented during meetings can be additional contact places. This does not mean the need for an identical arrangement everywhere. Repeatable elements are important to identify the sender: sign, colours, typography and way of presenting information.
Create a set of basic applications
Before designing, write out places where the customer will see the brand. In the store it is worth to include not only the main page, but also a basket, confirmation, email and documents, if they belong to the scope of the project.
- The logo should be readable in small size and on used backgrounds.
- Contact details must be kept up-to-date in each template.
- Buttons should have a recognizable role and consistent appearance.
- Promotional elements should not send out contract information.
Confirmation of purchase is primarily a useful message. Overdeclaration may make it difficult to find the order number or further instructions.
Prepare variants instead of handovers
Agreed versions of the sign and simple rules for its use. The person preparing the next material should not guess intervals or change proportions on his own. With a larger team it is useful to use order in files and brand rules.
Evaluate the project on the entire purchase path
Go to the test order and compare more messages. Also check the phone on which the message and the store have less space. If the look is consistent, but the conflicting information, identification does not solve the problem. A well-prepared system combines brand recognition with readable service, leaving the recipient with certainty where it is and what he should do next.
