The printing of the old leaflet should not consist solely of re-sending the file. It is worth checking the up-to-date offer, data and how the material is used before the next print is made.
Start with the approved version
The company may have several similarly named files, and the last printout does not always match the design found in the folder. Determine which material was actually approved and if its sources have been preserved. Do not evaluate the version solely by the date of saving the file.
Compare the project with the copy used by the team. Save the observed differences before you start new fixes.
Check for information that may have changed
The phone and the address are only the beginning. The leaflet may contain an old service range, an outdated example, a expired offer or a link to the deleted subpage. Each of these elements should have confirmation of the person responsible for the data.
- Open all the links and check the codes.
- Compare service names with the current website.
- Verify terms and conditions.
- See if the pictures still offer the right offer.
Assess experience from previous effort
Ask the people who distributed the material what the recipients did not understand and what questions came up after seeing it. Maybe a small correction of the header, or maybe a different division of information is needed. The fact that the use of effort does not confirm the effectiveness of each part of the project.
If the distribution site has changed, check the format and way of reading. The commercial conversation material may require something other than a leaflet available at the reception desk.
Re-Approve Final File
After the amendments, check export, not just an open source project. Save the version and date of acceptance and distinguish it from archival materials. This will make it easier for you to reprint next time.
We write about pre-production checks in leaflet checking guideThe re-use of the project may be reasonable if it is accompanied by an update of information and an assessment of actual needs.
