The long program does not have to turn the poster into a hard to read list. It is worth separating the invitation, the most important points and the detailed schedule available elsewhere.
Set a Poster Task
The poster visible in the space of Warsaw should quickly explain what the event is about, when it takes place and where to find further information. It is not always the right place for all hours, biographies and descriptions of speeches.
If the recipient is to stop at the display case and read the program, a separate information variant can be prepared. The viewing conditions justify different layouts of the same communication.
Select elements to help you make a decision
From the program, select points that actually show the nature of the event. The distinction of everything takes the hierarchy of the entire page. The short, understandable block names work well, provided they do not distort the content.
- Keep your date and place visible.
- Explain how to participate or register.
- Restrict the notes competing with the title.
- Place the full schedule under an easy to read address.
Take care of the current programme on the Internet
The event page should contain the same basic information as the print. If the schedule can change, explain where the current version is located. However, do not use this as an excuse for printing unconfirmed data.
The referral should lead directly to the right event, not force you to search for it throughout the organiser's website.
Prepare the variant for the exposure site
Compare the invitation poster with the version placed at the entrance to the event. The first one helps to get interested in the participation, the second can facilitate orientation on the site. Common colors, typography and the organizer's character combine both materials.
