Lawyer's card: readable contact and calm typography

The company's business card should allow you to read your name, role and contact details without effort. A clear design does not require any excess of symbols, ornaments or small text.

The company's business card should allow you to read your name, role and contact details without effort. A clear design does not require any excess of symbols, ornaments or small text.

Start with the data you want the recipient to remember

The most important are the name or the name of the law firm, the proper definition of the role and way of contact. A full list of issues and extensive information can be placed on the website. A small carton should not replace the whole presentation of the business.

Before designing, ask for approval of the exact spelling of names, titles and data. The designer is responsible for their readable presentation, but should not add specializations, permissions or assurances about work results.

Select a typography to the actual format

A thin, decorative font can look elegant in a large preview and become difficult to read after the printout. Check the e-mail address, Polish characters and numbers of the phone number in particular. It is worth assessing the project on the target scale.

  • Keep a clear difference between name and auxiliary data.
  • Don't use many pieces of writing without justification.
  • Leave a quiet gap between the information groups.
  • Check the contrast also on the selected paper.

A symbol associated with the law is not a compulsory element of the project. If the firm's sign already exists, the card should use its established rules.

Use the other side knowingly

The reverse may contain the same character, page address or additional language variant. It does not need to be filled in only to use the location. If a QR code appears, it should lead to the right, accessible page with the current contact.

Receive the project with data control

Before printing, check every sign in your phone number and email address. With several people in the law firm compare all versions, including those with longer names. The rules of the series describe designing business cards for the teamA quiet look, well-chosen material and reliable data create a useful contact that does not need an excess declaration to look professional.
