The person looking for the company on the phone needs to find the right number, address and way of access quickly. The contact section should work in motion as well as during a quiet browsing on your computer.
Show most important information before the map
A large map may look impressive, but it should not push the phone number and address away from the first useful section fragment. First let the recipient recognize the location and method of contact, and then open the access details.
If the company has several locations in or outside Warsaw, each should be signed unequivocally. Explain whether it is an office, reception point or other service place. Not every address is used to receive customers without prior determination.
Fit button action to its description
The phone button should run the correct number and the link to the directions lead to the selected location. At several points easily duplicate the link from the first one. The visible text can be correct, although the operation leads elsewhere.
- Split the touch cells to limit accidental press.
- Leave the address as readable text.
- Do not require map support to find the basic data.
- Specify the relevant terms of the visit if the company actually applies them.
Watch out for contact elements
A floating banner, call button or decorative character can help, but they should not cover the form or address data. Check the layout also after opening the screen keyboard. Then the space available is smaller than in the usual phone preview.
Test contact in several situations
Check the page with the enlarged text, after turning the phone and with a slower connection. The map can load later, but the company data should remain available. A useful addition is preparation of the query formA well-designed section does not force the user to accurately hit small icons or to guess which number and address concerns his case.
