A well-developed website brings attention to the most important information. typography, intervals and movement should help you understand the offer, also on a smaller screen and with longer content.
Select the information from which the recipient should start
The first screen does not need to contain all the advantages of the company. It should allow you to recognize the subject and find a further way. If the header, animation, list of services and several buttons fight for the same attention, it is difficult to understand what is most important.
When designing a website for a company from Warsaw, it is worth basing the hierarchy on the real questions of customers, not just placing the city in a large title. The recipient needs information about the service and way of cooperation.
Typography acts as a system
The size, thickness and spacing should indicate the role of the text. The title of the section, the description and the label of the button need not look identical, but the relationship between them should be repetitive. Too many accidental styles make it difficult to recognize the structure.
Check the project with the longest real names. For example, the title of the service located in one line on a large monitor may obscure the illustration on the laptop. The solution is to refine the layout and width, not automatically reduce the entire text to the limit of readability.
The distances are supposed to order relationships
Elements on one issue should be visually closer to each other than the next sections. Empty space helps read, but its excess can give an impression of the end of the content or tear the button from the description.
Note:
- whether the heading is clearly in the relevant subparagraph;
- whether letters and links can be distinguished quickly;
- whether long lines do not hinder text tracking;
- whether the illustration does not cross important information;
- whether the increase in content does not cause it to be cut.
The movement should have a purpose
The gentle appearance of the illustration can support the composition. Continuously moving the text while reading makes it difficult to receive. Also check the version with limited animations and touch handling where there is no cursor.
